Figurines and Collectables
Little things with big personalities. Ceramic animals, porcelain ladies, plaster Madonnas, chalkware cats, and hand-painted figures that have been quietly judging rooms for decades. Whether you collect one genre or just know a good weird thing when you see it, this is your section. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and ready for its next forever shelf.
Collecting vintage figurines
Turn a figurine over before anything else: a backstamp, foil label or impressed mark can tell you the maker and country. Many mid-century figurines were made in Japan and are unmarked, or lost their paper labels long ago. Fine crackle lines in the glaze, called crazing, are common with age.
Our listings note crazing, chips and repairs, along with the size and any mark.
