Kitchen and Dining
The good stuff that used to live in someone else's kitchen. Salt cellars, cake stands, gravy boats, Depression glass, hand-painted serving platters, and casserole dishes that have seen some things. Vintage kitchenware with a lifetime of Sunday dinners behind it — and plenty of good meals ahead.
Using vintage kitchenware
Vintage dishes and glassware are happiest washed by hand, since dishwashers can fade gold trim and hand-painted decoration. Older glazes and painted decoration weren't made to today's food-safety standards, so many collectors keep those pieces for display.
Listings give measurements, any maker's mark and the condition, including chips, crazing or utensil marks. For more glass, see our collectable glass.
