Changed your mind? Contact me within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned unworn, in the packaging they were shipped in, and securely packed. Buyer pays return shipping unless the item was not as described. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the item.

Who says you can't take the beach with you? This vintage belt buckle is a leaping dolphin cast in solid brass, caught mid-jump with its fin up and nose down, like it just spotted a sardine. The clever part is the tail: it curls back to form the belt loop, so the whole dolphin is the buckle. A small stud on the back near the head catches the belt hole.
The casting has nice detail, from the curve of the smile line to a tiny red-tinted eye, and the brass has a soft, lived-in glow with warm rosy tones. It's a solid, weighty piece, not plated.

- Condition: Good vintage condition. Natural patina and light surface wear all over, with darker spots and small pits in the casting. There's green verdigris on the inside edge of the tail loop, where the belt rubbed. The back is textured as cast, and the stud is intact. Please see all photos.
