Authenticity Guarantee
Every piece is hand-selected, cleaned, and described using over 20 years of vintage experience. When a listing says a piece is vintage, it is vintage. If an item isn't as described, I'll refund you in full, including shipping.
Vintage Condition
Every piece here is pre-loved and often decades old, so expect gentle signs of age and use, like light scratches, softened plating or finish, small marks, or patina. That's part of each piece's history and charm, and nothing will look fresh off a showroom floor.
Anything beyond normal wear, such as chips, cracks, repairs or damage, is always pointed out in the description and shown in the photos. If an item arrives with a flaw I didn't mention, my return policy has you covered.

Vintage Colman's Mustard Tin | 1/2 lb Bull's Head Double Superfine | Reckitt & Colman, Atlantis Sales Rochester NY | King George VI Era | 1938-1952 | 5.3"
Did your grandmother keep a yellow tin of Colman's in the cupboard? This is a vintage metal Colman's Mustard advertising tin in the larger 1/2 lb. size, made in the U.S.A. for Reckitt & Colman, Ltd., London and distributed by Atlantis Sales Corporation, Rochester, New York.
One side has the famous Bull's Head trademark and "Double Superfine (Warranted Pure)." The other carries the royal crest, "By Appointment to His Majesty King George VI", and the Paris 1878 Legion of Honor medal. King George VI reigned from 1937 to 1952, and Reckitt & Colman formed in 1938, which dates this tin to about 1938-1952. The narrow sides are printed with old directions for table mustard and salad dressing, and remedies like the mustard bath, mustard plaster and foot bath.
The bright yellow and red make it a cheerful piece for a vintage kitchen shelf, a farmhouse pantry, or a tin collection.
Condition: Good vintage condition with strong color. Emptied of its old contents. Faint handwritten marker ("Am.") on the Bull's Head side, small scuffs and spots of paint loss, and light age spots on the top and around the rims. Please see all photos. Display only.
