Vintage Florida Advertising Pen & Mechanical Pencil Lot of 4 | Ace Electric Supply Gainesville | Florida Dept of Citrus Lakeland Riteograph | Bell System Property | 1950s-70s

Remember when every business handed out a free pen with its phone number on it? This lot of four brings back a little old Florida, from a Gainesville electrical supply house to the state's famous orange juice campaign, plus a phone company pencil and a bright mid-century click pen.

What's included:

• Ace Electric Supply Company mechanical pencil: cream and pale blue with eraser and chrome clip, printed "1630 N.E. 23rd Blvd., Gainesville, Fla., Phone FR 2-1427" with the red "Ace Quality" lightning bolt logo. The old letter-exchange phone number and no zip code point to about the 1950s to early 1960s. There is lead in it and it holds its point; lead advance has not been tested.
• Florida Department of Citrus, Lakeland, Florida click pen by Riteograph: orange top and cream barrel printed "Drink Florida Orange Juice" with the "Orange Juice, the real thing from Florida" logo. The push button sticks a little. Out of ink.
• Bell System Property mechanical pencil: green hexagonal barrel with gold-tone clip and ribbed cap, a classic phone company desk pencil. Lead advance has not been tested.
• Red and turquoise click pen: bold two-tone plastic with a "Made in USA" clip. Clicks smoothly. Out of ink.

Condition: Used vintage condition with honest wear: light surface marks and spots on the cream barrels, wear and some discoloring on the Bell pencil's clip, and light scuffs. Printing is clear and readable. The ink pens are dry and sold as collectibles. Please see all photos.
