Vintage Condition
Every piece here is pre-loved and often decades old, so expect gentle signs of age and use, like light scratches, softened plating or finish, small marks, or patina. That's part of each piece's history and charm, and nothing will look fresh off a showroom floor.
Anything beyond normal wear, such as chips, cracks, repairs or damage, is always pointed out in the description and shown in the photos. If an item arrives with a flaw I didn't mention, my return policy has you covered.
Return Policy
Changed your mind? Contact me within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned unworn, in the packaging they were shipped in, and securely packed. Buyer pays return shipping unless the item was not as described. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the item.
Damaged in transit: Photograph the item and packaging and email me within 5 days of delivery, and I will refund your purchase, including shipping. Photos must show the actual item and packaging as received.

Remember sitting at your grandmother's dresser, opening every little compact and peeking in every box? This lot brings that whole dresser top home in one go: seven vintage vanity pieces in gold-tone metal, rhinestones and silvery patina. It's a well-loved bundle with real wear, so it's priced as a lot. It's perfect for displaying on a vanity tray, for a collector who likes a project, or for crafting and junk journals.
What's in the lot:
- Pavé rhinestone powder compact. Square gold-tone compact with the whole lid covered in rows of prong-set clear rhinestones, about 2 1/4" x 2 1/2". The lid mirror is missing, a few stones are dull or cloudy, and the gold-tone has wear and marks on the bottom.
- Green monogram "L" compact. Oval compact with a green enameled lid and a rhinestone script initial L, engine-turned gold-tone back, about 2 3/4" x 2". Inside it still has its mirror and a Rex Fifth Avenue puff. The green has a lot of scratches and some wear at the edge, and a few stones in the L are missing or dark.
- Embossed peacock box. Round lift-off-lid box with a full-tailed peacock in high relief, in silver-tone metal with a dark patina, about 2" across. Heavy wear: a split at the rim and green corrosion spots inside.
- Mini gold-tone hand mirror. About 4" long, with an antiqued floral spray and three faux pearls on the back. The mirror glass has some desilvering at the edges and a light scratch.
- Small clothes or hat brush. Natural bristles with a repoussé scroll metal back, about 4 1/4" long. The metal has dark patina and green verdigris.
- Little hinged pill box. Pillowed rectangular box, about 1 1/4" x 1", brass with traces of old silverplate, worn and spotted.
- Estée Lauder Signature lipstick in Soft Amethyst (M21). Ribbed gold-tone case, about 2 1/2" long, with the EL logo on the cap. The lipstick has been used and is sold for the case and collectibility, not for wear.
- Material: Gold-tone and silver-tone metal, glass rhinestones, enameled finish, faux pearls, glass mirrors and natural bristle
- Maker: Mostly unsigned; puff marked Rex Fifth Avenue; lipstick by Estée Lauder
- Era: Mostly about 1940s to 1960s; the lipstick is later
- Color: Gold, green and silver
- Condition: Sold as is. Every piece shows wear, as noted above: scratches, missing and dull stones, a missing mirror, corrosion and patina. Please see all photos.
