Authenticity Guarantee
Every piece is hand-selected, cleaned, and described using over 20 years of vintage experience. When a listing says a piece is vintage, it is vintage. If an item isn't as described, I'll refund you in full, including shipping.
Vintage Condition
Every piece here is pre-loved and often decades old, so expect gentle signs of age and use, like light scratches, softened plating or finish, small marks, or patina. That's part of each piece's history and charm, and nothing will look fresh off a showroom floor.
Anything beyond normal wear, such as chips, cracks, repairs or damage, is always pointed out in the description and shown in the photos. If an item arrives with a flaw I didn't mention, my return policy has you covered.

Vintage Stoneware "Drippings" Crock with Lid | Hand-Thrown Speckled Pottery with Cobalt Blue Bird | Bacon Grease Keeper | 6" x 6.25"
Grandma never threw out the bacon grease. She poured it into a crock like this one, kept it by the stove, and it made everything taste better.
This vintage "Drippings" crock is hand-thrown speckled stoneware with a fitted lid and a flared knob. It's decorated in cobalt blue with a sweet little bird perched on a flourish, the word "Drippings" in bold blackletter-style script, and blue bands around the shoulder and lid. You can see the potter's throwing rings inside the crock and across the lid, and the warm unglazed clay shows at the foot and on the underside of the lid.
The gray, iron-speckled glaze and cobalt decoration are a nod to old American salt-glazed crocks, made in the farmhouse country pottery style that was so popular in the 1970s and 1980s.
- Material: hand-thrown stoneware with speckled glaze and cobalt blue decoration
- Design: blue bird, "Drippings" lettering and blue bands
- Era: 1970s to 1980s, based on style
- Maker: studio pottery; no maker named
- Size: 6" x 6.25" with lid
Use it for bacon grease the old-fashioned way, or as a utensil crock, a sugar or coffee canister, or a farmhouse accent on open shelves.
Condition
Good vintage condition. There are several small glaze chips along the lid rim, where the gray clay shows through (please see the close-up photo), plus a few tiny glaze skips near the base. The crock interior is clean and glazed. Please look closely at all photos, as they are part of the description.
Styling props shown in photos are not included.
