A little grand piano for your rings. This mid-century jewelry box is cast in gold-tone metal in the shape of a baby grand, right down to the tiny keyboard, the curved side and three scrolled legs. Every surface is covered in raised roses, acanthus scrolls and lattice, and butterflies perch on the corners of the beveled glass lid. Lift the lid and there's a mirror inside and two compartments lined in red velvet.
- Material: Gold-tone cast metal (ormolu style), beveled glass, mirror and red velvet
- Style: Rococo or Hollywood Regency grand piano, with a pierced scroll gallery around the lid and butterfly corner mounts
- Inside: mirror inside the lid, one long velvet tray and one ring and keepsake well
- Music box: does not work. The winding key on the bottom is loose and doesn't wind, so this is sold as a jewelry and display box, not a working music box. The small spindle inside is part of the old movement.

- Condition: Good vintage condition. The glass lid has no cracks seen in our photos. The mirror has silver loss at the corners. A few small spots of wear on the gold finish at the edges and legs, and the velvet shows light wear. The music box does not work, as noted above. Please see all photos.
