A charming vintage enamel hand bell by Knobler International — cloisonné-style in its look, with a vivid blue ground and a multicolor floral pattern over the body, finished with a brass handle, brass rim, and white clapper. The original Knobler paper tag is still inside, which is a lovely provenance detail for collectors. At 5.5" tall with a 2.5" bell, it has just the right presence for a shelf, vanity, or curio display.
Knobler International was a prominent mid-century American importer of decorative accessories — their pieces are increasingly sought after by collectors of vintage home decor and decorative bells.
Condition: Very good. No chips, no cracks. Bell rings clearly. Original paper tag intact inside. The brass handle shows natural verdigris patina consistent with age and has a beautifully hand-applied appearance. The enamel is hand painted, adding to its artisan character.
