It once held 250 tiny pellets and a whole lot of backyard tin-can target practice. Now it's retired, empty, and ready for a quieter life holding paper clips, guitar picks or fishing flies.
This vintage Crosman Super Pells .22 caliber pellet tin is a small metal tin with Crosman's classic red, white and black graphics: a bullseye target with a tight little cluster of hits in the center, the Crosman logo and "SUPER PELLS .22 CAL." in bold white letters. The side panel reads "250 / .22 Cal." and "Made by Crosman Arms Co., Fairport, New York, U.S.A." The top has a lift-up flap, and the lid comes off.
Crosman sold Super Pells in metal tins like this before switching to plastic containers, and the Fairport, New York address points to the company's earlier days, likely around the 1960s to 1970s. A fun piece for airgun collectors, vintage advertising and tin collectors, a man cave or workshop shelf, or anyone who grew up with a Crosman in the garage.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The red front graphics are bright, with light scuffs and age spots. There are scratches on the black side panel. The bare metal top, rims and lid have rust and darkening from age, and the inside of the lid has darkening as well. The tin is empty and is sold for display only. Please see all photos.
