A beautifully aged antique Victorian cast brass swivel wall hook — genuine architectural salvage, very old, with the kind of ornate cast brass craftsmanship you simply can't find in reproduction pieces. Two swivel arms spread out to hold bags, coats, scarves, or towels — one arm extends a little further than the other, which is characteristic of the original design and gives you two different hanging depths. The whole piece has a wonderful sculptural presence even when nothing is hanging from it. The heart motif detail adds a particularly charming Victorian character.
Natural verdigris in the swivel joints is proof of age and authenticity — collectors and restorers look for exactly this. It has been left as-is intentionally.
How to mount it: The threaded post bolts through a wooden board or plank with a nut on the back. Thread length is just over 1", so it will work through boards up to about 1" thick. Mount the board to your wall and you have a statement hook that looks like it's always been there.
