Authenticity Guarantee
Every piece is hand-selected, cleaned, and described using over 20 years of vintage experience. When a listing says a piece is vintage, it is vintage. If an item isn't as described, I'll refund you in full, including shipping.
Vintage Condition
Every piece here is pre-loved and often decades old, so expect gentle signs of age and use, like light scratches, softened plating or finish, small marks, or patina. That's part of each piece's history and charm, and nothing will look fresh off a showroom floor.
Anything beyond normal wear, such as chips, cracks, repairs or damage, is always pointed out in the description and shown in the photos. If an item arrives with a flaw I didn't mention, my return policy has you covered.

Antique Edwardian Portrait of a Young Woman | Hudson Studio Pittsburgh c. 1905-1912
A serious gaze, a towering pompadour, and a collar buttoned right up to the chin.
This is an antique Edwardian photograph of a young woman, set in an oval window on a tall, textured pink-tan card mount. She wears a crisp white high-collar shirtwaist with fine pleating and her hair swept up into the full pompadour made famous by the Gibson Girl. Below the portrait, the mount is embossed with a decorative crest topped by a unicorn, a stock design some studios used to give their portraits an elegant finish.
The back carries the round stamp of the Hudson studio, Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, with the oval and crest embossing showing through, and an old pencil number 148, likely a studio or order number.
- Material: photographic print mounted on embossed card stock
- Era: c. 1905 to 1912, based on the hairstyle, high collar and mount style
- Photographer: Hudson, Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (stamp on back)
- Subject: unidentified; no name written on the card
- Size: about 2.50" x 5.5" (please see ruler photo)
Condition
Spotting and mottling on the print, most noticeable across the face and hair. A large tide-line water stain on the lower half of the mount, scattered small spots, and edge wear with small paper losses along the right edge and corners. Honest wear for a photograph over 100 years old.
Styling props shown in photos are not included.
