This quirky vintage lapel pin is a miniature toggle switch with a gold-tone lever, threaded collar and frame, a black plastic housing and three little terminal prongs at the back. The lever really works: it flips back and forth just like a real switch.

The housing is marked Carlingswitch, the Connecticut switch maker now known as Carling Technologies, and the frame is stamped Mexico. The company retired the Carlingswitch name in 2001, so this is a true vintage piece. A fun conversation starter on a jacket lapel, tie, hat or tool bag, and a great little gift for an electrician, engineer, ham radio fan or anyone who loves to tinker.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with light signs of age.
