This little Hutschenreuther wall plate shows a Horned Sungem, a South American hummingbird with a sapphire-blue crown and golden \"horn\" tufts, darting toward a huge, swirling coral lily. The wings are layered in brown, violet and teal, and the flower and scrolls are trimmed in raised gold that catches the light, all on a soft pale blue ground with a gold rim.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt was designed by the Danish artist Ole Winther, who created collector plates and seasonal editions for Hutschenreuther starting in 1978.
